Mica Mine
We are having great weather out here, and hope you are too! We had to take advantage of the warm sun. Justin took the afternoon off of work and we hiked up Bang's Canyon to an old Mica mine. It was a short trail (2.5 miles) that followed a creek. Mica is used for all kinds of things, like toothpaste. It is like clear flexible plastic flakes growing out of the rock that shine like mirrors. The whole trail glittered! After such an exhausting hike we headed to Famous Dave's where IJ managed to eat more than his parents combined.

Actually it's very cool to see you taking advantage of the very cool place you live. You are good at finding the fun things everywhere.
Diana, you definitely don't look like you need to start wearing maternity clothes like you said! If I didn't know you were expecting I never would have guessed! Lucky you :)
We really miss you guys! Maybe we can get together somehow this summer...what do you think? Should we meet up somewhere? If you come up with any good ideas let us know!

Little Davis was sitting by me while I looked at the "Bug On My Back" video clip. When it was over he said, "Wow, that was a GOOD movie!"
Forget Diana's Darnings, apparently you should be making kid movies staring Justin and IJ.
